Hello lovely people, and welcome to our little slice of jungle paradise! We are the Mo-Juntaks, a Batak-British family who've been running our trekking company for the past 5 years, providing first class jungle treks and Sumatra tours to our worldwide guests. We aim to provide you with an ethical and educational trek with a little sprinkling of comedy, as a little bit of humour gets you a long way in our hot and humid jungle!

Our guesthouse, Sumatra Expedition Lodge, is found in the traditional village of Gotong Royong, just 5 minutes north of Bukit Lawang tourist centre. We have 7 rooms (air con and ensuite) available, over looking our fishponds and padi fields (ranging from 350.000-650.000 p.night), We grow our own fish on site, served daily at our in house restaurant. 

 

We hope we get the chance to share our love of both our village and jungle with you.
